Bahía Collective in collaboration with Film Lab Palestine presents Palestine Cinema Day Screening & Fundraiser in Los Angeles.

On the somber anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, observed on November 2nd, and in an effort to amplify Palestinian voices, we are screening Ma'loul Celebrates Its Destruction directed by Michel Khleifi (as part of the PCD program) and Three Promises by Yousef Srouji at 7:00 p.m. at Whammy! Analog Media.

The screening is free of charge, but in an attempt to raise funds for those in Gaza, we are grateful for any possible donations at the door. All proceeds will be directed towards the fundraiser by Meera Albaba to provide aid and support for displaced people in Gaza. Details of the fundraiser are available here. Donations are hugely appreciated, but no one will be turned away for the lack of funds.

In addition to the films, we will have food, drinks, art vendors, and a wonderful photo booth by Isabela Costa. All collected funds from the vendors will be donated towards the same fundraiser as well. We hope to see you there! ~ Bahía Collective
